Canberra Comedy Club June 2025

Canberra Comedy Club for June features Brisbane-based headliner Peter James and MC Shad Wicka, along with local legends Jacqui Richards, Suma Iyer, Charlie Vandenberg and Chris Marlton.

A rising star out of Brisbane, Peter James is quickly making a name for himself on the Australian comedy circuit. He has performed multiple sell-out shows to audiences across the sunshine state, as well as at the Adelaide Fringe, Perth Fringeworld, Brisbane Comedy and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, where he garnered four and five-star reviews.

A favourite of Queensland comedy, Shad Wicka is becoming a regular face in comedy circles after departing Cairns and is now thriving in the Brisbane comedy scene. Since being kicked off commercial radio, Wicka has become a class storyteller with jokes to match. Shad brings a down-to-earth looseness to the stage that has made him one of the most in-demand hosts in Brisbane and beyond.
