Canberra Comedy Club featuring Gary Eck

Canberra Comedy Club is back for 2025 on Wednesday 2 April with a big line-up featuring Gary Eck headlining, along with some fantastic local supports including Chris Ryan as MC, Caitlin Maggs, Charlotte Kuruc and more
Gary Eck is an accomplished stand-up comedian who has performed all around the world from Singapore to Paris, to New York and London and has done comedy shows at the Edinburgh, Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals. He was also originally from Canberra and attended university here!
Gary Eck has compered and performed stand-up comedy alongside some of Australia biggest companies in Australia and internationally.
Gary has also carved a career in radio, film and television. He co-wrote and co- directed Happy Feet Two with Academy Award winner George Miller. He also voiced several characters for the film.
Gary won the world’s largest short film competition, Tropfest, with his short, The Money and took second place two years prior with his comedy short Tragic Love. Eck co-wrote and starred in the cult hit You Can’t Stop the Murders and featured in the film Boytown alongside Mick Molloy and Glen Robbins.
Gary co-created the hit kids animation series, VEGESAURS which currently screens world wide and is now its fourth season. Vegesaurs is the number 2 show on BBC, just behind Bluey! Gary also writes and episode directs the series. Vegesaurs! The Immersive Experience now screens at Luna Park in Sydney.
