DESCRIPTION:A showcase of some Canberra comedy talent\, featuring 7 comedians presenting some of their finest material in a 1 hour show. Featuring Ethan Kirk\, Suma Iyer\, Daniel Mehareb\, Fateh Singh\, Laura Johnston\, Cameron Ribbons and Scott Hawkins. \nEthan Kirk – One of the youngest comics going around and is a regular in the Canberra comedy scene. As well as being a RAW state finalist\, Ethan was a National Finalist in the Melbourne Comedy Festivals ‘Class Clowns’ competition. Offering a unique perspective on being young in todays world\, he’s sure to have you in stitches! \nSuma Iyer – Takes her already unhealthy obsession with the minutiae of everyday life to some weird places\, including: her cats’ love lives\, mattress ghosts\, and the emancipatory potential of detachable showerheads. Her comedic style has the urgency and intensity of a woman with IBS who is still minutes away from her front door. It could all go quite badly. \nDaniel Mehareb – Daniel is a young and energetic 23 year old comedian who has been popping all over the Canberra comedy scene for the past few years. \nFateh Singh – Fateh only does stand-up to please his parents while nurturing a longing to be a prominent Tax Accountant. When not performing comedy\, he likes to write wistful poetry\, play the bass\, and practice pronouncing his own name. \nLaura Johnston – You don’t see a musical comedian who can’t read music everyday! Laura is also 0.5cm taller than her mother and an aspiring e-sports commentator. Ask her about e-fishing\, she dares you. \nCameron Ribbons – The reviews are in on Cameron and they are nothing short of spectacular. ‘Not funny’ – Mum. ‘Leave me alone’ – Dad. ‘Cash or card?’ – local Woolies worker. \nScott Hawkins – Office Worker\, Comedian\, Fast Food Drive Thru Philosopher?
